Personalizing your piece

Can I see what it will look like before I order?
Not a finished mock-up. You choose the crop for your photo on the product page, so you control what goes on the piece, but we don't show a rendering of the engraved result. We review every order by hand within 1–2 business days and email you if we think the photo or text won't come out well.

How many characters can I engrave?
12 characters maximum. The more characters you use, the smaller they are engraved.

What kind of photo works best?
Follow the guidance shown next to the upload field: an original photo, no watermark, 1000 × 1000 px or larger, with the face filling most of the frame. Screenshots, heavily filtered images, and photos zoomed in from far away come out soft when engraved. If we think your photo won't reproduce well, we'll email you within 1–2 business days.

Can I engrave in a language other than English?
Currently we engrave Latin characters and numbers only. Write to us if you need something else and we'll tell you whether it's possible.

Can I change my engraving after ordering?
If you notice an error immediately after placing your order, please contact us at support@fatemarks.com as soon as possible. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes before production begins, but we cannot guarantee that an order can be changed or canceled once production has started.

Can I cancel?
Non-personalized items can be cancelled any time before they ship. Personalized items can be cancelled only before production begins — after that the piece exists and it exists only for you.

Do you gift wrap?
Every order arrives in a FateMarks gift box, ready to give. We never include a price anywhere in the package.

Can I ship directly to the recipient?
Yes. Enter their address at checkout.

Materials and care

What are the pieces made of?
Details are listed on each product page. Most of our range is brass with rhodium, gold, or rose gold plating; stainless steel pieces are marked as such.

Will it tarnish?

Please do not treat your photo projection jewelry as waterproof. To help protect the finish and photo projection component, avoid contact with water and prolonged moisture. Remove it before showering, swimming, exercising, or sleeping. Avoid direct contact with perfume, lotions, and cleaning products.

After wear, gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth and store in a dry place. If it gets wet accidentally, gently pat it dry promptly. Plating may wear over time, and its lifespan varies with use and care.
